Dr. Anne Pusey is the a Professor in the Deptartment of Ecology,
Evolution, and Behavior
at the University Minnesota as well as the executive director of
the Jane Goodall Institute's Center for Primate Studies.
She first studied mother-infant relations as a research assistant
to Dr. Jane Goodall in Gombe National Park in 1970. Her research
grew to encompass chimpanzee behavioral changes in adolescence as
well as the influence of dominance rank on the reproductive success
of female chimpanzees.
